We are witnessing one of those rare moments in history – The decline of an Empire – The American Empire. Maybe the reader hasn’t noticed the crumbling walls around them or maybe they are believing the bragaddacio of the USA leaders or haven’t tied the knots enough to come to the same conclusion but at this moment the USA is involved in the financing of two wars and could become involved in the financing of a third one. And amongst those three is not counted the one that will mean the most to the war machine of the USA which is a war with China that is being billed as a war for world hegemony.
The only problem is that the “enemy” doesn’t see the world through that same prism. While the USA has NATO (a war machine), the Chinese have the BRICS +, a conglomerate of nations that have come together to improve the living standard of the developing nations. Another way of framing this world’s juncture is to divide the camps between colonizers and colonized. A revolt of the vast majority of the people of the world against those that once colonized them in conjunction with local oligarchs benefiting economically from selling their souls to the colonizers.
The USA have two very costly wars going as of now, one being the “defense” of Ukraine. War that could have been averted from its beginning as per the President of Türkiye Recep Erdogan. The peace process was almost complete until the colonizers led by the USA stopped the process utilizing former British PM Boris Johnson as an intermediary. It now seems we have wasted many billions of dollars in what many, including myself, predicted it would be a disaster. But let’s be fair it hasn’t been a disaster to the military-industrial complex. It hasn’t been a disaster either to those industries that have taken the advantage of the war to hike up prices that are leaving many Americans in desperate straits. Millions classifying as food insecure or suffering from unaffordable housing quarters.
The second war is the one being waged in the Middle East that started with the thought that Israel had a right to defend itself but as we are seeing now this is a war that Israel wanted to happen. Israel has no intention of finishing this war anytime soon. The Israeli government leadership composed of extreme right-wing nationalists has all the intention of ethnic cleansing the area surrounding Israel with the purpose of formalizing the territorial expansion of Israel. This will mean more wars and more expenses trying to satisfy the Zionist dream of a Greater Israel.
Now, as of this moment, we are also ogling the possibilities of getting into another war. In this one, we might have to use our own soldiers. We can’t expect the Colombian paramilitaries to be able to carry a war against the Venezuelan army. The Colombian paramilitaries are useful in killing presidents (Moise) but the best that can be expected of them is to be a destabilizing factor in the border area at a very expensive price.
All of this together without mentioning the upheaval that we are creating by helping colonizers keep their former possessions in Africa under their control or at least under their sphere of influence.
As we can see the Military-Industrial complex has a secure economic future at the expense of the wellbeing of the American people. Their zest for profits leaves no room for butter.
But we have a chance through Kamala Harris to arrive at a soft-landing. Kamala can lead our nation to a disentanglement of all these wars and look towards a future where we are not anymore, the hated Hegemon trying to keep the world under our control. And instead look for a multipolar world where we could participate as a major contributor to the human collective.

,,,,,,¿Podrá
