Una ocasión para felicitar a todas las mujeres pero, en especial a las mujeres Cubanas

Hola. Es un placer y un honor formar parte del equipo de Radio Miami Today. Escogí comenzar mi columna semanal este 8 de marzo ya que se conmemora el Día Internacional de la Mujer.

Una ocasión para felicitar a todas las mujeres,  pero en especial a las mujeres Cubanas, esas Guerreras del Amor que luchan día tras día por nuestra patria y su familia. Son las Guerreras del Amor. Lo mismo agarran un fusil que una sartén que un biberón. Para mi es un orgullo ser mujer cubana. Mujer y un privilegio haber nacido en esa isla a la cual amo. Felicidades mis Guerreras.

Mi intención en estas cuartillas es comentar acerca de aquellos acontecimientos que haya sucedido en nuestra Cuba y en Estados Unidos y en especial en las relaciones entre ambos países. Los invito a hacer sus impresiones y comentarios así cómo sugerencias de temas a tratar. Toda opinión será bienvenida mientras se exprese respetuosamente. Aquí cabemos todos. Expresarnos libremente nos enriquece.
Solo deseo comentar acerca de dos eventos esta semana.

La visita a Washington DC de esa
mujer Cubana que tanto admiro y que tengo el privilegio de conocer, Johana Tablada,
Subdirectora General de Estados Unidos en el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de la
Republica de Cuba. Bienvenida Johana. Ojalá tu presencia signifique un giro de comprensión y
acercamiento entre nuestro país y los Estados Unidos. Te deseamos mucho éxito en esta visita.

El segundo evento es el discurso del Presidente de los Estados Unidos, Joseph Robinette
Biden ante el Congreso cómo está dispuesto por la Constitución de Estados Unidos en la cual
se dicta que todos los años el Presidente debe comparecer ante el Congreso y dar un informe
acerca del Estado del Gobierno y sus planes futuros Se habló de enviar un barco de la flota de
los Estados Unidos para garantizar que la ayuda humanitaria fluya a la Franja de Gaza. Que
nivel de hipocresía. Después de apoyar bombardeos masivos. Matanzas de mujeres, niños y
ancianos ahora queremos garantizar el pan. Es verdaderamente vergonzoso que ese país haya
apoyado semejante horror
Por supuesto de levantar sanciones contra nuestro pueblo absolutamente nada. Y cómo
siempre que tengo la oportunidad le recuerdo al Presidente que no ha cumplido sus promesas
de campaña eliminar las terribles sanciones adicionales impuestas por el Presidente Trump,las
cuales contribuyen aun más al sufrimiento de nuestro país
Hasta la  próxima semana  y me despido cómo siempre recordándoles que nuestra Cuba es
Amor!

Hello. It is my pleasure and my honor to be part of the Radio Miami TV team. I chose this date
to begin my weekly column because the 8th of March we celebrate International Women’s Day
On this occasion I want to congratulate all women but especially Cuban women, those Warriors
of Love who fight daily for their country and their family. They are our Warriors of Love. They can
handle a rifle as well as a frying pan or a baby’s bottle. I am proud to be a woman and it is my
privilege to have been born in this Island that I love. Congratulations to my Warriors
My purpose in writing this column is to comment about events that have taken place in Cuba
and the United States especially as it pertains to relations between the two countries. I invite
you to share your impressions and comments as well as suggestions on topics you would like to
see here. All opinions will be welcomed as long as they are expressed with respect. They will all
find a place here. Freedom of Expression enriches all of us
I only want to comment on two events this week. One is the visit in Washington DC by Johana
Tablada, a Cuban woman who I greatly admire and who I have the privilege to know. She is the
General Subdirector for United States Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Relations. Welcome
Johana. Hopefully your presence harbors an eta of understanding and closeness between our
country and the United States. Our best wishes for success during your visit
The second event is U.S. President’s State of the Union address to Congress as set forth by the
Constitution of the United States which demands that the President must appear before
Congress each year and informs on the state of the government and future plans for the same.
He spoke about sending a battleship from the US Navy to guarantee the flow of humanitarian
aid to the Gaza Strip. What colossal level of hypocrisy. After lending support to the massive
bombings The killing of Children of Women and the elderly we now want to guarantee food. It
is to this country’s shame that it stood idly by during this horror
Needless to say not a word about lifting the sanctions against our country. Absolutely nothing.
And as I always remind the President each time I have a chance he has failed to honor his
campaign promises to eliminate the terrible additional sanctions imposed on the Cuban people
by President Trump. Sanctions that have only serve to contribute further to the suffering of the
people of our country
